Our teenage students had a great time following one of Bob Ross’s tutorials (I had to adapt it to acrylic painting). We went this time really big – size A2 canvas and 2 inches brushes. A lot of different techniques to learn and master. It seems everyone enjoyed the session. And the results are truly amazing. Well done everyone!
There are no classes this week. Have a nice and well deserved break!
Last week we were learning aerial perspective fundamentals and practising our skills in painting beautiful landscapes with flowering cherry trees.
Our beginners’ group has settled very well. They have been busy drawing their first landscapes and playing drawing games. What a fantastic bunch of creatives!
Couple of examples from our last session on face expressions in cartooning.
We painted autumn last week, and learned a lot about aerial perspective.
It was a demo session last week on how to works in layers with soft pastels. We’ve got beautifully gloomy results.
