We had a go at abstract painting, trying to use a limited number of colours to convey a particular mood.
Our teenage students had a great time following one of Bob Ross’s tutorials (I had to adapt it to acrylic painting). We went this time really big – size A2 canvas and 2 inches brushes. A lot of different techniques to learn and master. It seems everyone enjoyed the session. And the results are truly amazing. Well done everyone!
There are no classes this week. Have a nice and well deserved break!
It has been very busy three weeks. Children were working on their personal projects commemorating the Centenary of the End of the WWI. I am very excited to be able to put their artwork on display in Newcastle town centre during the first two weeks in November. Watch this space – details to follow.
